Plans for Facilities Management

A set of minutely detailed architects plans can be simplified and amended so that they can be much more easily used by those who are responsible for ongoing Facilites Management. A set of architectural dwg files can be stripped down to the basic floor plans, which will be a lot easier to use. Onto this basic plan, a number of different layers can be added, for example to show furniture layout, fire evacuation routes, fire protection equipment, electrical layout, plumbing layout etc etc.
Original "as-built" CAD drawings often exist, but the amount of detail on them can make them look very confusing and difficult to work with. If you have such a set of plans which you would like simplifying and/or updating, just email them to HH CAD plans and tell us what you need.
